Jake

Jake Chadwick is a keen golfer who was in a serious road traffic accident during his journey home after a round of golf. In the very wet road conditions his car ‘aqua-planed’ and hit a tree. As a result of the accident Jake suffered multiple serious injuries, including concussion, a broken leg, arm, wrist and knee and various cuts & bruises.

Jake was airlifted and taken directly to a major trauma centre with an on-site helipad, enabling the air ambulance to land quickly and minutes away from the emergency treatment that Jake so urgently needed.

Jake is walking again and well on the way to a good recovery. He recognises just how important it is for our major trauma hospitals to have an on-site helipad facility, which can save the valuable minutes needed to help ensure good patient outcomes and enabling trauma patients to be transported speedily and easily to receive the medical care they so urgently require.
