Job Type: Part-time.

Air Ambulances do a brilliant job but when they have to land away from a hospital without a helipad, valuable time erodes and secondary transfers via a road ambulance can prove fatal. Helipads ensure that Air Ambulances can fly patients to specialist treatment in a fraction of the time it takes now – and within the ‘Golden Hour’ every second counts.

The HELP Appeal provides funding towards these life-saving helipads at hospitals all over the country. We have projects from Plymouth to Brighton, London to Hull and across to Manchester, Sheffield and Liverpool. The value of our projects built and planned is over £80 million.

Few people realise that the HELP Appeal rely solely upon charitable donations – we receive no funding from Government or the National Lottery.
