Brad the bear
Brad is the adorable official mascot of the HELP Appeal and loves nothing more than going on thrilling escapades and meeting new people to help spread awareness of our work in funding lifesaving emergency helipads at NHS hospitals.
Brad has already travelled far and wide – from Nova Scotia to the Napa Valley – while also managing to get married and have a family too. Some of his favourite experiences so far have been in the Royal Box at Ascot and seeing Queen Elizabeth II, wearing a ‘bearkini’ in Turkey, being imprisoned on Alcatraz, meeting Jeremy Bates and Andrew Castles, former No.1 England Tennis Players, sunbathing on a nudist beach in Croatia and backpacking in Greece.
Brad has lots of exciting adventures planned this year, after clubs and organisations asked if they could have a Brad of their own so their members could whisk him away after kindly agreeing to donate to our charity. But he’s always looking for new places to visit to help spread awareness of our work!
