Thanks to Moor Hall Golf Club choosing the HELP Appeal to be its Charity of the Year in 2023, it has raised an incredible donation of £9,800 in total. The donation was made after the club organised charity golf days, raffles and coffee mornings with members.
Liz Betts, Lady Captain of Moor Hall Golf Club says:
“As an ex-midwife, I have always maintained a strong interest in all things medical and appreciate the importance of transporting seriously ill patients to hospital as quickly as possible in order to get the treatment needed to preserve and maintain life. The hospital helipads the HELP Appeal funds are essential in this role. It was a pleasure to help raise some funds for the valuable work that it does to help save people’s lives.”

“I would like to say how grateful I am for all of the hard work the Moor Hall Golf Club has done for the HELP Appeal. The donation of £9,800 is extremely appreciated by our charity and will enable it to carry out the many lifesaving projects that are in the pipeline.
“Liz Betts and Ted Regan have been so brilliant to work with and I was delighted to meet some wonderful members this year. It has been an absolute pleasure to get to know everyone at the club.”
